Notebook which belonged to John Peter Russell. It contains some sketches and transcriptions of poems, also a biography of his father "A short account of the life of and by John Russell (Engineer) ." His father was the third son of Robert Russell, engineer and ironfounder, Kirkcaldy, Fifeshire, Scotland.
